Nancy Stonington produced her first fiber mural in 1983. Since then, she has created many of these large-scale painting-based murals in response to growing demand for representational work in public spaces.

The murals are constructed from hundreds of shades and textures of top quality, plush carpet - cut, pieced, glued onto wood panels, and wall-mounted to form a continuous image. They create a soft warmth, absorb sound and resist damage.
